Lost Mountain is a true multi-use bi-directional trail. Give hikers, dog walkers, and runners the right of way on this trail system as these trails are used by numerous cross country running teams. Lost Mountain usually dries up quick after a rain unless it’s rained for several days straight and typically opens before the other local trails. Use caution on the bridges as they become slick after a rain. Currently there are ~4 miles of trail now and night riding is allowed until 11pm. The trails are beginner/intermediate but have some challenging sections to keep it interesting for advanced riders. Creek crossings, jumps, and steep narrow cliff sections await intermediate+ riders. Advanced riders can soon hit some log skinnies, rock gardens, and alt jump lines for additional fun. Plans include additional trails for slope style and slalom in the near future.
